Embassy International Riding School Bangalore (EIRS), is India’s premier horse riding school, run according to British Horse Society (BHS) standards. Our 240-acre campus is in Devanahalli, just 27 km north of the city, offering structured riding lessons for all levels from beginner to advanced conducted by highly-qualified BHS Instructors and Pony Club activities for children of all ages, as well as a range of leisure, entertainment and hospitality activities, celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or a weekend on our sprawling campus or at our outdoor tented guest camps or dine at Ai Cavalli, one of the city’s longstanding Italian restaurants widely known for its simple, rustic appeal and delicious home-style cooking.
Being so close to the city and yet located in idyllic, unspoiled countryside, we’re a very popular party and weekend destination for Bangaloreans.
FACILITIES
EIRS can stable up to 130 horses and ponies. The famed Bangalore climate is perfect for bloodstock all year round. The horses’ stables are built around an open quadrangle with all the horses looking out onto landscaped gardens.
Ponies are housed in a separate barn with large open windows all around. Both horses and ponies are turned out daily in fenced green paddocks.
The working areas include a 18mts dia. covered round yard for schooling, 3 international standard 20m x 60m dressage arenas, 40m x 70m floodlit show-jumping arena with a complete set of international standard show jumps, 2 fully enclosed 30m x 60m sand arenas, separate warm-up arena adjacent to show-jumping arena, 1 fenced jumping lane for free-schooling over-jumps and a 6-horse automatic walker.
