She was the President of the FEI Dressage Committee for 8 years responsible for shaping and developing Dressage globally.
She has officiated at 4 World Equestrian Games, was President of the Ground Jury at the Athens Olympic Games and Technical Delegate at the Sydney and Beijing Olympics, has judged more than 120 World Cup qualifiers and 7 World Cup Finals, several European, North, South and Central American Championships as well as the Asian and Pan Am Games. She is also an FEI Course Director, Instructor and Coach. Nearly all the current FEI dressage judges in the world have attended the courses to become an International Judge under Mariette’s tutelage.
Mariette has been organizing international competitions for more than 20 years, she is a co-founder of the Dressage World Cup and AIDEO (the Association of International Dressage Event Organisers).
She is also a co-founder, long time Chair and currently Honorary President of the International Dressage Officials Club.
Mariette is an international dressage trainer of repute and is currently the official team trainer for the Brazilian team helping them prepare for the Olympics in Rio 2016.
