Participating in an IDDL qualifier is a great way to compete internationally without the cost of travelling, stabling and expensive entry fees that are an essential part of competing internationally.
Here is how it works!
HOW DO I FIND AN IDDL QUALIFIER TO JOIN?
You can find an IDDL organizer from the list on the IDDL web site.
If there are no IDDL Organizers close to you, you can talk to your coach/trainer or stable manager
about organizing an IDDL Qualifier at your club or stable.Read more about organizing an IDDL qualifier HERE!
CONTACT THE IDDL ORGANIZER
Contact the IDDL Organizer near you and find out the date and time of the next qualifier.
Let the Organizer know what tests you would like to ride.
You can choose from the tests listed on the COMPETITION LEVELS PAGE.ATTEND THE COMPETITION
The IDDL qualifier will be conducted exactly like a regular competition.
The riders ride their test according to the starting list provided by the Organizer.
Full competition attire is required.
All tests are recorded by camera located at C, from the bell to the final halt.NOW WAIT FOR THE RESULTS
The tests will be judged by one National and one FEI judge.
If the FEI judge is unable to travel to the location, then he/she will judge the test remotely via video.
Organizer will send off the videos to the IDDL head office, where they will be uploaded to the IDDL Youtube Channel. We are doing our best to get the test judged within 14 days of the day the entries close. Then we need another week to compile and finalize the results.
CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE WINNERS!
Once all the tests are judged, the results will be published on the IDDL web site RESULTS SECTION.
The scoresheets will be sent to your Organizer, who will forward them to you.READ THE FEEDBACK AND PREPARE FOR THE NEXT QUALIFIER!
Read the comments, watch the videos of yourself and your competitors – and be ready to show improvement for your next test!
