More about Tiyasha
Tiyasha Vathul, a student at Dr. C.L. Metha Sishya OMR school, started riding at the age of 5. Her passion for animals drew her close to this sport. She is at the stables at 6am and rides for an hour before heading to school.
Tiyasha is based out of Chennai, and trains with Isabelle Hasleder and other international coaches who teach at Chennai Equitation Centre. She rides Dazzling Gold, Autobahn and Zia at various equestrian events held across Chennai, Bangalore, and Pondicherry.
Apart from horse riding, she also plays the guitar, is a sprinter and also volunteers at a play school in the evenings. She won the individual championship in her school’s athletic meet.
Tiyasha loves the outdoors and she treks and camps with various adventure companies in the summer. Her next goal is to learn scuba diving and plans to do a course in the Andamans shortly.
